The Islander Resort

We are excited to offer a resort package for this Bassology Around the World adventure!  This option includes 2 nights for a student and guest at The Islander Resort, Bassology curriculum for one student, and the Bassology Clinic. The Islander Resort has generously offered the excellent group rates we have for Bassology Spring Fling for an extended stay if you want to enjoy more than a couple of days in The Keys!  The price below includes your guest– how awesome is that?!

The Islander Resort is a world class resort on over 24 acres of Atlantic oceanfront property with two saltwater pools, an oversized hot tub, a splash pad and gorgeous native gardens.  Every room and suite features a private lanai with lounge furniture, a full-size refrigerator, luxury linens and bath products, free wi-fi, and authentic FL Keys decor.  Enjoy on-site snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddle boards.    

Islamorada is the sport fishing capital of the world and we know several boat captains and fishing guides who are also local musicians.  So let Tamatha know if you need help with these extras by emailing bassologyaroundtheworld@gmail.com .

Bassology Master Classes at The Everglades Room

Local students or students who prefer to make their own accommodation arrangements can enroll in just the Bassology curriculum.  We are delighted to offer our Masterclasses in the gorgeous Everglades Room, which is the Interactive Art Studio and Gallery for the award-winning FL Keys artist Pasta Pantaleo.  The Everglades room features Pasta’s paintings and gorgeous views of the Florida Bay as well as a state of the art sound system and teaching area.

Anthony Wellington Bassology Clinic

Anthony Wellington’s Bassology clinics are very popular with students and arts lovers alike.  Anthony creates music on the spot and talks about what makes that possible.  He shares his approach to and thoughts about the art and science of music.  Because attendees are encouraged to ask questions and pick Anthony’s brain, every clinic is a little different.  Anyone who appreciates the arts and artists will leave a Bassology clinic inspired to view music, the world, and themselves a little bit differently than they did when they walked in the door.  We are pleased to offer this clinic to the general public and include it in the curriculum for this Bassology Around the World adventure.

Bassology Around the World is pleased to offer students three options for the FL Keys Spring Fling:   staying at The Islander Resort, attending the Bassology Masterclasses only, or attending the Bassology Clinic.   

Pricing for staying at The Islander Resort includes Friday and Saturday night for you and a guest, the Bassology Masterclasses, and the Bassology Clinic.  Please contact us at bassologyaroundtheworld@gmail.com if you have questions or would like to extend your stay at The Islander Resort.  We are pleased that we can offer group rates on extended stays at the resort. 

Pricing for Bassology Masterclasses without staying at the resort includes the Bassology Clinic.  

You may enroll in Spring Fling FL Keys 2019  with a deposit before April 25, 2019.  After that, enrollments must be paid in full.  You may make payments of any amount before the final payment is due. Deposits are non-refundable.

When we receive your deposit, you will receive a welcome email from bassologyaroundtheworld@gmail.com and be added to a Bassology Around the World 2019 Spring Fling FL Keys private Facebook group. The welcome email will have attachments that must be returned promptly in order to validate your enrollment and secure your spot in the group.

Important note:  Prices do not include airfare, transfers to/from airport, taxes and certain fees, excursions or gratuities. Deposits are nonrefundable.
