When you look out the window and see a tree, you know it’s a tree.  You see it; you know it!  Fast ears know what they are hearing when they hear it.  I call that “seeing with your ears.”

 

Having good ears isn’t just about recognition— it’s about retrieval time and reaction time.  If you’re on the gig or trying to get the music that’s in your head to come out of your instrument, “uhhhh, that’s aaaaaa G minor I think, probably or… no… wait…” just won’t cut it!  Either your gig or your idea will be lost!

You need fast ears, not just good ears!

Anthony Wellington teaches his Bassology students a clear path for improving not just your recognition of intervals, scales, chords, rhythm, and dynamics, but also getting faster at retrieving your knowledge and your reaction time.   In this virtual clinic, he’s sharing that path with you!

You will receive a Welcome Letter from bassologyaroundtheworld@gmail.com on or before 10:30 am EST on Monday, January 11, 2021.  The email will have the login and password for the clinic. 

We send these emails individually and manually, not automatically, so please be patient and know that it is coming.

You should save bassologyaroundtheworld@gmail.com to your contacts.  If you don’t, you risk having your Welcome Letter going to your junk or promotions folder.  

On Time is Late

Please note on your calendar that we begin role call 15 minutes before start time and that the virtual room is locked promptly at start time.  If you are late, you will not be able to get into the virtual room.  Our clinics “begin at the beginning” and quickly build upon a solid foundation.  You simply cannot miss even 5 minutes of Anthony’s teaching.  Don’t be late!

“On Time is Late” is a foundational principal of Anthony Wellington’s life and he aims to instill this value in all of his students.
